For example, Ötzi, the legendary glacial mummy from the Stone Age, is situated roughly 50 kilometres away from the South Tyrolean Archaeology Museum in Bolzano/Bozen, Lago di Braies/Pragser Wildsee and the Three Peaks, crystal clear mountain lakes and the unique mountain formations where Terence Hill and Til Schweiger have already shot films, are approximately 60 kilometres away, the Dolomites, the world famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, are just a stone’s throw away and the fascinating Riddana/Ridnaun-Schneeberg Mining Museum can be reached after 40 kilometres.
