Bressanone/Brixen is in the heart of South Tyrol, in the green Valle Isarco/Eisacktal and with ideal connections to the main transport routes as a result it is possible for you to explore the whole of South Tyrol and visit our country’s most rewarding spots during your holiday in Bressanone/Brixen. For example, Ötzi, the legendary glacial mummy from the Stone Age, is situated roughly 50 kilometres away from the South Tyrolean Archaeology Museum in Bolzano/Bozen, Lago di Braies/Pragser Wildsee and the Three Peaks, crystal clear mountain lakes and the unique mountain formations where Terence Hill and Til Schweiger have already shot films, are approximately 60 kilometres away, the Dolomites, the world famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, are just a stone’s throw away and the fascinating Riddana/Ridnaun-Schneeberg Mining Museum can be reached after 40 kilometres. Varna/Vahrn, Bressanone/Brixen, Valle Isarco/Eisacktal – the white wine region

Besides impressive outdoor adventures, rich history and numerous sights a holiday in South Tyrol mainly stands for pure indulgence.
